Integrated management system - QS, AS, US
Our many years of experience in the areas of quality and environmental protection led to the decision to have both aspects certified in 1993. In 1994, a management system in the field of quality, environment and health and safety was introduced. In 1995, the quality and environmental aspects were certified. The ISO 9001 quality standard was first achieved in 1995 and has been renewed ever since.
In the case of EMAS (Environmental Management and Audit Scheme), previously also referred to as the Eco-Audit, CWS became the first paint factory in Europe to implement this management system.
In 2001, CWS receives the German environmental award for Responsible Care. During the same period, data protection is also implemented in the management system.
For its efforts in the areas of personnel, environment and exemplary organisation, CWS was awarded the Ethics Prize in 2005.
In 2014, CWS won the UBA Environmental Innovation Prize.
